While the work in the whole winery bustles, Luca Mignano – winemaker and winery production manager – takes stock of an extraordinary year from many points of view.
“This vintage gives us an excellent Moscato, with a good alcohol content, good aromas, but also a super Brachetto which this year has literally amazed us either for the grapes, the wine and for the color, with marked scents of rose and violets, and a potential gradation around 13,5° / 14,0°.
Dolcetto will be good, well balanced. Other grapes particularly beautiful this year, healthy, harvested in the right quantities were also those of Cortese, with an excellent alcohol content and acidity.
What to say about Barbera instead….: a huge satisfaction from all points of view. Structure, color, alcohol: really to remember. ”
The bottles of the sixtieth harvest of La Torre di Castel Rocchero (the first one dates back to 1956) promise to be savored and enjoyed with a smile on your lips.
